Woe [1945] to the land [0776] shadowing [6767] with wings, [3671] which [is] beyond [5676] the rivers [5104] of Ethiopia: [3568]

That sendeth [7971] ambassadors [6735] by the sea, [3220] even in vessels [3627] of bulrushes [1573] upon [6440] the waters, [4325] [saying], Go, [3212] ye swift [7031] messengers, [4397] to a nation [1471] scattered [4900] and peeled, [4178] to a people [5971] terrible [3372] from their beginning hitherto; [1973] a nation [1471] meted out [6978] and trodden down, [4001] whose land [0776] the rivers [5104] have spoiled! [0958]

All ye inhabitants [3427] of the world, [8398] and dwellers [7931] on the earth, [0776] see [7200] ye, when he lifteth up [5375] an ensign [5251] on the mountains; [2022] and when he bloweth [8628] a trumpet, [7782] hear [8085] ye.

For so [3541] the LORD [3068] said [0559] unto me, I will take my rest, [8252] and I will consider [5027] in my dwelling place [4349] like a clear [6703] heat [2527] upon herbs, [0216] [and] like a cloud [5645] of dew [2919] in the heat [2527] of harvest. [7105]

For afore [6440] the harvest, [7105] when the bud [6525] is perfect, [8552] and the sour grape [1155] is ripening [1580] in the flower, [5328] he shall both cut off [3772] the sprigs [2150] with pruning hooks, [4211] and take away [5493] [and] cut down [8456] the branches. [5189]

They shall be left [5800] together [3162] unto the fowls [5861] of the mountains, [2022] and to the beasts [0929] of the earth: [0776] and the fowls [5861] shall summer [6972] upon them, and all the beasts [0929] of the earth [0776] shall winter [2778] upon them.

In that time [6256] shall the present [7862] be brought [2986] unto the LORD [3068] of hosts [6635] of a people [5971] scattered [4900] and peeled, [4178] and from a people [5971] terrible [3372] from their beginning hitherto; [1973] a nation [1471] meted out [6978] and trodden under foot, [4001] whose land [0776] the rivers [5104] have spoiled, [0958] to the place [4725] of the name [8034] of the LORD [3068] of hosts, [6635] the mount [2022] Zion.
